K'AREE TSALAGI

K’aree Tsalagi is a Aboriginal Indigenous Moorish American native to Baltimore City. K’aree is the Creative Director of his own textile design studio named Tsalagi which he started in 2018. He graduated from Baltimore City College in 2017 and was part of the IB Visual Arts program. His work represents spirituality, esotericism , duality.  His work explores sustainable practices through making new textiles, handmade prints, and accessories.  They symbolize moments of strength, struggle, and rebirth.   Everything created in the studio starts with a simple word or experience which he then translates into color concepts and original art works. I  love being commissioned and collaborating with Interior Designers,  Fashion Designers, Artist and Commercial companies!
